As far as E-Doodles are concerned they are basically simple drawings in an electronic (i.e. digitized) .PDF format that are one page, single drawings that can be used for stitcheries, painting patterns, coloring pages, needle felted patterns, wool felt applique patterns, punch needle patterns, rug hooking, etc. The possibilities are endless. E-stitcheries, which are needlework drawings in electronic form, are very similar to e-doodles in that they are usually one page single drawings, but these are intended for quilting, applique and embroidery use. They, too, are in an electronic (i.e. digitized) .PDF format.

Digitized embroidery is computerized machine embroidery that is created by a computerized sewing machine or embroidery machine or combination of both. Digitized Embroidery designs are basically, drawings, clipart, etc. that are converted to a file format that would then direct a particular machine to stitch the design in a certain color, stitch type, etc. Digitizing is simply a way to convert data such as images, text, or sound, to digital form. The computerized embroidery machines basically convert embroidery design files in an electronic (i.e. digitized) format into instructions for the machine to create the design. Digitized embroidery design files can be either purchased and instantly downloaded or sent as attachments to an email. They can also be created with embroidery digitizing software.
